I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully appointed rooms. However, I did encounter several service issues that detracted from the experience, especially considering the high price tag. The dining was fantastic overall, but the service during lunch was frustratingly slow and disorganized. I would recommend visiting during quieter times to fully enjoy the gorgeous setting.

The one-bedroom suite we had was beautiful and spacious, providing a lovely view of the coastline. Aside from some minor issues with setup, the room was immaculate.

The location is simply spectacular, with easy access to coastal trails and beautiful ocean views. It's also relatively close to SFO, making it a good stop on a California trip.

Dinner at the Conservatory was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the cioppino—one of the best meals I've had on this trip. However, the lunch service was chaotic, which was disappointing.

The facilities like the pool and outdoor fire pits are lovely, but staff asking guests to clean up pool toys felt odd for a premium resort.
